1. A West Virginia Gaming/Gambling License can only be obtained through an authorized government agency. Depending on the type of business, where you're doing business and other specific regulations that may apply, there may be multiple government agencies that you must contact in order to get a West Virginia Gaming/Gambling License.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a West Virginia Lottery retailer. The West Virginia Lottery has generated more than $8.5 Billion to public education, seniors and tourism since the first ticket was sold in 1986 and none of that would be possible without our retailers.

Complete a separate application for: all gambling conducted on two or more consecutive days; or all gambling conducted on one day. Only one application is required if one or more raffle drawings are conducted on the same day. Financial report to be completed within 30 days after the gambling activity is done.
